Set on gently sloping ground and protected from the predominant south westerly winds by granite "carregs" or rocks the site extends over 6 acres of land that has not been cultivated or fertilised for time immorial.

The expansive views are across to Whitesands bay and St Davids to the east, whilst those camping at the top of the field can see across to Ramsey island.

In the winter the fields are gently grazed and on opening the site the fields regulary mowed.

Facilities are simple - a small and simple toilet block offers basic oblutions with his and hers thrones. Running cold water and a deposit point for your rubbish. Apart from that it is back to basics and that is what makes this site popular with many families returning every year since the 1950ies.

Dogs are welcome BUT you must tidy up their mess AND they must be kept on a lead when on the site. For the sake of all this rule MUST be followed.

Remember this is a quiet family site and we want to keep that way.
